This course is designed to teach Flownex users how scripting works in Flownex. From basic C# and Python scripts up to advanced automation functionalities. Lessons are accompanied by exercises for users to practise what they have learned. This course consists of:
Fundamentals:
An introduction to what scripting in Flownex is, along with a deep dive into the different script types in Flownex and ways to debug them.
Advanced Functionality:
An overview of embedded component scripts and how scripts are used to calculate material properties. The Iterative script component and its code structure are discussed in detail followed by a discussion of different methods to reuse and share script components.
Automation with Scripts:
Guidance on how to use the API help manual along with an overview of how scripts can be used interactively. This is followed by the methodology of writing code which automatically builds networks and concluded by result extraction.
